OSX Spaces Like virtual desktop on Window 7

Edit
Yesterday I tried to implementing the 4 monitors environment I was hoping to get. As my boss haven't approved my request to add more monitor yet, I tried to do that using virtual desktop software which work unexpectedly well. So the monitors layout is 2 x 2,  2 on tops, 2 on bottom forming a grid

Top left monitor : for email and task specification
Bottom left monitor : for documentation of programming language or library I am using, and some googling
Top right monitor : preview of the code I write (I mostly work on web pages, so it is for the browser which pointing to my test code)
Bottom right monitor : text editor / IDE that I use to right code

what good about this layout is that
1. on top you can look left and right to see if the preview site fulfill what is said in the job spec
2. at bottom you can look left and right to see the documentation of the programming language or library you are using while you write your code in the text editor or IDE

You should give it a try!

For OSX users you are lucky that there is "spaces" that comes in with the OS, you just need to turn it on. You can follow this guide to help you set it up : http://mac.appstorm.net/how-to/os-x/an-introduction-to-spaces-on-os-x/

For window users, I have tried several virtual desktop alternatives and finally I resort to this free one, which works great, just install and follow the screen wizard and you will know how to use it http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/cc817881.aspx

Enjoy coding!
