HTML5 Offline Web App on iOS mobile Safari useful resources

I am being informed my next project will be an offline-enabled web app in iPad. It is pretty exciting to me. And after digging around I found some good resources to help me warm up. The most important one I believe is the offline app programming guide  from apple itself. But I couldn't find safari's html5 storage limit there. People from stackoverflow said it is 5MB per site. I need to verify that. Moreover there are also some other very easy to understand articles and helpful links about HTML5 iPhone app
